These aren’t new photographs. I’ve been experimenting with taking old horrible color photographs, converting them to black and white, and color filtering in an attempt to salvage them. I actually convinced myself that I was breaking new ground until I realized that all I was doing was making sepias from scratch.

I’ve updated my links page to acknowledge a few souls who were kind enough to link to me. DebWire had particularly kind words to say about this site. Is it vain to link to someone’s post tooting my horn? Yes, yes it is. But I was touched with what she said because it touched on the very reason that I decided to build this project in the first place. She also said that my design was “superb” which I found a little hilarious, seeing how I’m almost html illiterate and my code is held together with duct tape and chewing gum.

Also, the other day I was the last person in the universe to discover dooce. Who knew that a preggo ex-Morman living in Utah could be so f’in’ brilliant?
