Baltimore’s most exclusive (and by most exclusive I mean only) hardcore gay leather bar burned to the ground earlier this week. The Baltimore Eagle was one of those bars with intentionally poorly lit nooks and crannies. Although I pride myself on being ridiculously gay friendly, I was always way too terrified to go into that place.

Last night was scheduled to be the monthly Full Moon Party, when the bar would have a “pants optional” policy. I feel bad for the fellas, as I would be devastated if my watering hole burned to the ground; but I couldn’t help be amused by the image of leather men in tighty-whiteys roaming the neighborhood like a bunch of Samurais without a Lord.

And yes, last night the streets were in fact filled with lost sad leather men. Luckily, they were all wearing pants.
