Next Wednesday, weather permitting, I’ll be heading down on my annual pilgrimage to the city of turds (aka DC) to check out some exhibits at the Hirschhorn and various other surrounding Smithsonian art museums. I’m definitely going to be checking out this guy.

Although, I usually go it alone on these excursions, I was thinking that if anyone out there (whom I already know) isn’t working on Wednesday, or feels like blowing off work for the day, a little company wouldn’t be a bad thing at all. Now I know that there is a geek meet that night, but I’ll be taking the MARC back to Penn Station and getting back to Baltimore around around six. So, if you’re planning to geek meet at the Charles that night, it’s right next to Penn Station. I’m personally not sure if I’ll be going to the meetup. I like to decide whether I’ll go last minute; you know, just in case some really cool is on TV that night.

So, if anyone feels like coming along, feel free the send me an email (eebmore [at] yahoo [dot] com). But please bare in mind, I’m pretty much going for the art exhibits. I don’t have any plans go to any of the other museums, or check out any war memorials and I’m definitely not going to any fucking air or space museums.

Oh, and just-so-you-know, this is the time of year when interns and young Capital Hill staffers like to take their shirts off and sun bathe on the Mall in their bikini tops during their lunch hours. So I plan to be doing some SERIOUS leering between eleven and one. And yes, THAT IS one of influencing factors that make me choose to do this in the spring of every year.
