There seems to be a new Baltimore centric aggregating blogrolly thingey in the works out there. Good thing too, as Crablogs has seemed to have slipped from a nap into a coma after creating and then depriving me of my Baltimore blog fix. I’ve been jonesing here; concerned that I would either have to learn how to use or develop an interest in bloglines or some other aggregator that would necessitate some work on my end.

Thankfully, someone out there has chosen to pick up the banner and lead the charge for the Baltimore Dorkisphere, and I’m proudly willing to follow, in spite of the use of the term “hon” on the welcome page.

Overuse, otherwise known as ANY USE, of the term “hon” from anyone other than an actual hon makes the creepy crawleys underneath my skin wiggle and writhe. Granted, “hon” isn’t nearly as annoying as “Charm City”; but it’s still excruciatingly lame in its own right. But what can you do? “Mob Town” is the only moniker this city has ever had that could be considered even remotely unlame, and only half the people out there in this Monumental Reading Greatest City in America would know what the fuck you were talking about.

But never mind. The “hon” thing is just a personal issue of mine. Best of luck to the anonymous omniscient powers that be-lieve behind curtain. I’ll be your tool... but please get rid of the “hon” thing. Unless, of course, you’re actually a hon; in which case, you my bitch, Hon.
