Women are from mars....

July 21, 2005

Offixewizard, Rachel, and Seadragon are speaking in geek about their favorite video games [I'm totally cool with this, by the way].

Meanwhile, Anonymous Coworker is posting vomit inducing photographs of his, um... kitten [he redeemed himself in his next post, making reference to his grundle, taint, and butthole. Bravo on that one, by the way].

If anyone needs me, I’ll be watching Dr. Phil, chatting for hours on the phone with one of my best friends about human relationships, feeling appreciated by my loved ones and estrogen or something...

I thought you'd like that.

I don't get it...is AC a gal?

Posted by: Rachel at July 21, 2005 07:57 PM

Rachel, you see, you office and seadragon were speaking in video game like a bunch of boys. ACW was posting like a girl. I was just following suit and getting in touch with my inner uterus.

Oooooooh.

But Katamari is a girl game.

Posted by: Rachel at July 22, 2005 09:50 AM

there are girl games? Cool. I’ve always sucked at video games. I haven’t really followed the marketing since the days of pac-man.

"officewizard said...
I did find a scarf. I also imagine the ending involves the little boy and girl who can feel the cosmos."

I guess that does sound like a girl game.

STOP WITH THE VIDEO GAMES!!! I make those things for a living and I don't come here to be reminded of work.

Posted by: jayinbmore at July 22, 2005 02:17 PM

jay, do you make boy games or girl games? can you make one that involves girls becoming more self actualized while they search for the perfect pair of jeans?

Posted by: eebmore at July 22, 2005 02:29 PM

It's not really a game for girls so much as a game that girls like to play, which makes it a girl game.

Other girl games:
Centipede
Pac Man
Tetris

Jayinbmore: I thought that was you! But I wasn't sure.

Posted by: Rachel at July 23, 2005 03:42 PM

eebmore: Most of the games I make are gender neutral. People of all genders like to drive fast cars and/or slay demons. As for your request, we haven't figured out how to simulate self-actualization for either gender, and shopping I have a feeling shopping for jeans would be as irritating virtually as it is in real life.

Rachel: You didn't know already? I thought I'd spilled those beans to you and that guy you hang out with a while ago.
