Grrrrr! Grrrrr! In the face of the worst natural disaster to hit the United States in decades, what really gets my goat are people not respecting private property!

“Two residents wade through chest-deep water after finding bread and soda from a local grocery store after Hurricane Katrina came through the area in New Orleans, Louisiana.”

Oh, those poor people. Look at what this extreme situation has forced people to do. It breaks my heart seeing good people suffering like this.*

*Just for the record. Media is a business, providing people a service, which in this case is the information that they want to see.

In no one in particular's defense, the second photo is attributed to the AFP, not the AP. Just clarification.

But I agree, it's utter douchery.

good catch. you're right. that does make some difference. perhaps not to the overall social perception being total bullshit thing, but two different sources can account for the difference. of course, as the post that I obviously didn't read too carefully asked, was this attributable to the AP and AFP, or to yahoo?
