Scopitones. French music video-like short films from the Sixties which played on projection jukeboxes of the same name.

Where:
Scopitones, the webpage. All these video files are from this site. Long ago, before I had a weblog and before Scopitones was in weblog form, I was familiar with Scopitones, the non-weblog website. Having dial-up at the time, I would begin to download one of these shorts, watch some television, make dinner, work a shift or two, write a novella, and then return to the computer to watch one of these at a time. Some are hilarious, some are bizarre, some are both. Yesterday I discovered its reincarnation.

Why:
Because I just don’t feel like writing anything.

After rewatching these, I decided I’m hopelessly crushed out on Francoise Hardy. This compelled my to search out her webpage and look at her photo album, spanning her career from the sixties to the present day, looked at her photos from the current decade -- and wanted to shoot myself.
