Supposedly, that was a legitimate call. I heard it about a year or two ago on the Bob and Tom radio show. I don't remember who the comedian was but I remember he had an entire album of telemarketer calls for sale.

Legitimate?? Oh, come on. Disturbing, yes. But legitimate? The telemarketer would have been subject to some sort of charge, and really, how would it have been recorded except perhaps by the Funeral Co., which would obviously not want this to see the light of day. (so to speak)
