So these are the details of the case as I know them. A 28 year old male walks into a Radio Shack on Reisterstown Road, fake gun in hand, with the intent of robbing the store. The store manager and another employee recognize that it is a fake gun and assault the assailant, chase him down the street... where they apparently assault him again. The assailant is able to fight off his ‘attackers,’ and flees the scene in an automobile (his car or stolen - I have no idea). Less than a mile from the scene of the crime, he slams into the rear of a car at a stop light, which happens to be transporting an off-duty plain clothes police detective. After being taken into custody, the suspect begins to suffer chest pains and shortness of breath, is taken to Sanai Hospital, where he later dies.

The police are considering his untimely demise suspicious, and an autopsy is scheduled to determine the exact cause of death. Personally, I think he just died of humiliation. Talk about a bad day.
