Oy. This is actually one of my busiest weeks of the year. So I’m going to just look at the front page of CNN and spew whatever comes to mind.

• So the Vice President shot a guy in the face. As much as I hate Dick Cheney, and I do hate Dick Cheney, I cannot bring myself to mock the fact that someone got a face full buckshot. It is funny though, that while everyone has their panties in a bunch and are guffawing over the fact that Cheney shot a guy in the face, possibly after drinking, and ultimately causing the victim to have a mild heart attack, nobody seems to be paying very much attention to the fact that yesterday Cheney claimed Vice Executive authority to declassify information when asked about a case everyone knows involves classified information being declassified to exact revenge on a political enemy. Vice executive authority? Hey, if you all want to continue cackling over buckshot while this giant quail gets away, your aim is no better than the Vice President’s. Keep nibbling at the toes when you should be going for the jugular, geniuses. The aim here is about as moronic as attacking Brown and Chertoff over the Katrina debacle when the fault lied in a lack of a federal response due to a bunch of ideologues believing multi-State disastrous calamities, just like everything else, are better managed at the local level. History has shown us time and time again, Conservatives in Power + Natural Disasters = Clusterfuck. There is a reason conservative members of congress so readily and willingly attacked Brown. It’s called scapegoating. You picked these assholes, now enjoy what you bargained for... and that goes double for anyone who supported Nader in either election.

• The Olympics. Is there an Olympics going on or something? I’ve noticed TV has really sucked this week, and a little yammering about people in snow. I’ve also noticed very little or no discussion of the Olympics in the blog world. Why? Because nobody cares anymore. I have a sick feeling in the pit of my stomach this will all change this week when a bunch of scantily clad tweens take to the ice exposing their barely covered asses talents to the worlds. Ya’ll have fun with that. I’ll be watching really bad reruns... or surfing the net for real porn with adults.

• “ A canine contender from this week's Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show is missing after escaping from a travel cage at New York's John F. Kennedy International Airport” Can you blame her? If I had an owner who was so obsessed with house pets that they tortured me and paraded me in front of thousands of like-minded idiots, I would run away to the mean streets of Queens too.

• I have a friday night off this week. A real friday night off. Wow. What to do? Fuck, I forgot. I hate crowds and I have no life. It looks like I’ll be sitting on my couch, drooling onto my stomach and watching my spit dry up in my bellybutton. Partay.
